YANG Fengfan, born in Nanjing, China, in 1966. He received the B.sc, M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in electrical engineering in 1990, 1993 and 1997, respectively, from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, Nothwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an, 燼nd Southeast University, Nanjing, China.?During 1997-2003 and 2006-2008, he was first a senior research associate at City University of HK, and Surrey of Surrey, UK, and then as a visiting professor at McGill University, Canada 爁or various research in wireless communications. Now he is a full professor at College of Electronic and Information Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China. His current research interests include channel coding and爄ts applications, in particular, the coded relay cooperations, optimized codes design and peformance study.?/SPAN>


牋牋牋Professor Yang is now a senior Member of IEEE and a member of IET, and also serve as the external examiner of Ph. D thesis and visiting research professor爄n the Dept. of EECE, University of Pretoria and University of KwaZulu- Natal, South Africa.

Currently, I am supervising altogether 20 master students and 8 Ph. D students, including 7 international students, 2 from Ecuador (Ecuadorian Air Force), 2 from Pakistan, 3 from Egypt, 1 from Ghana, 1 from Tunisia and 1 from Cameroon.
